Osmocote is a slow release fertilizer for 3 months. I use it for everything. Happy Fertilizing!!
What kind of fertilizer is appropriate for gardenias_?
Gardenias like an acidic soil, so I feed mine Miracid(made by the Miracle Grow company, I think). If I don't use it occasionally, the leaves end up getting very pale yellow.

fertilizer from the stores have cemicals,
it's like putting your plants on steroids.
