I got a beautiful gardenia plant-my problem is, it keeps dropping its buds--help????

Gardenias require moisture, fertilizer, light and warmth. They prefer acidic fertilizer, like rhododendrons and azaleas.Let your water sit out overnight to leach out the chemicals. Mist it often to provide humidity. It may need a bit of iron or other trace minerals. Remove any ugly leaves by pinching.Look for insects also and use an insecticidal soap if you see any.Good Luck.
