What is your favorite flower, I love Poppy's and Gardenia's...do you?

Oh yes, I most certainly love Gardenia's and Poppy's. And roses, orchids, jasmine, honeysuckle, freesia, carnations, and bluebonnets, our state flower. I think I am pretty much a flower freak! I love it when our roses, jasmine and sweet


honeysuckle are all blooming at one time. It is so fragrant when that happens, I just want to stay outside all day, as long as it isn't too hot outside. I also love the smell of my lemon tree when it blossoms and then when the blooms turn into big lemons and also when my magnolia tree blooms. :-)

Reply:My favorite flower is apt to be whatever is blooming in the garden at the time. I love so many flowers that it I could never choose. Right now I love the fragrant yellow winter jasmine that is beginning to bloom in my garden, the little pink viola odorata that blooms in the winter, and the hellebores that are just now sending up their bloom spikes. Soon I will love the crocuses, and the early spring wildflowers, the dogwoods, redbuds and forsythias, the tulip magnolias, the daffodils, violets, hyacinths, tritellia and tulips. I will love them all as they bloom in succession, right through spring and summer and into fall.
Reply:Hi Sweet Judy, Poppy's' is our state flower in California and i have to agreed with you on this flower and i do love Carnations' too. All sorts of beautiful color..

I also like roses. Don Juan climbing roses as my favorite.


Other flowers that I like are vinca and 'Bright Lights' cosmos.
Reply:Roses, jasmine and gardenia, that's what I had in my wedding bouquet, it smelled heavenly! The only one of the three I've had any success with growing has been the rose.
