Gardenia - how to enhance growth indoors?
The key to Gardenia growth, and health, indoors: sunlight %26amp; warm temperatures.

Now before you stick that plant right against a window with full sun all day, remember that indoors it wants moderate warmth, and filtered light. If it gets direct sun, the plant needs to be several feet away from the window...at least.

Try to keep it from cool/cold drafts, and away from drying forced air heat vents.

Don't water too much, leaves will turn bright yellow and drop. Everything in moderation. Fertilize lightly. One trick, instead of fertilzer put some used coffee grounds on the soil. Not too much though.

You have chosen a very difficult and tempramental indoor plant.

Good luck.
